HOLIDAY INN & SUITES VIENTIANE—A NEW HIGHLIGHT OF VIETNAM–LAOS COOPERATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
On October 18, 2024, Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane was officially inaugurated in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, marking the debut of the country’s first five-star international hotel under the Holiday Inn brand of IHG Hotels & Resorts. Developed by BIM Group, the project represents the sixth milestone in the strategic partnership between BIM Group (Vietnam) and IHG Hotels & Resorts (United Kingdom).
According to reports on tourism and hospitality development in the ASEAN region, the presence of international hotel brands in emerging capitals plays a vital role in elevating accommodation standards, attracting foreign investment, and promoting sustainable tourism growth. In this context, Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane is expected to emerge as a new highlight of Laos’s premium hospitality market.
Project Scale and Development Orientation
Holiday Inn & Suites Vientiane is a premium integrated hotel–commercial–office complex, comprising:
- Approximately 273 internationally standardised guest rooms
- A conference and events centre with a total floor area of nearly 3,000 square metres, catering to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) demand
- A Grade A commercial and office complex, serving both domestic and international business activities
The project not only contributes to the enhancement of tourism service infrastructure in Vientiane but also reflects a development orientation that is modern, sustainable, and internationally integrated, in line with the global operational and management standards of IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Under the framework of the project, ETIC CNA-HTE is honoured to partner with BIM Group as the Design – Fabrication & Installation for Signage.
